Atlanta Outdoor Club hike to Bell Knob in Hiawassee and up the Wagon Train Trail to Brasstown Bald, the highest mtn in GA. Total distance between both hikes was 17.1 miles with just over 4000 feet of total ascent. The WTT ended up being a much nicer trail than I expected, and plan to go back there in a few months to enjoy the winter views. We had a strong group and got to the top in just under 3 hrs and then down in just about 2.5....good tough hike and nice weather overall.
